SL: 🎓World-class Indigenous governance education in Tucson
Attention Students!
Registration is now open for the Indigenous Governance Program’s annual accelerated education event, January in Tucson (JIT).
This is your chance to earn up to 5 graduate or law school credits in about a week!
JIT will offer 7 accelerated, master’s-level courses in subjects relevant to students of Indigenous Governance, Native Nation Building, Indigenous Law and Policy, and more on January 7-15, 2027.
Each one-credit course runs for four hours each day on three consecutive days. Available courses include:
- LAW 631D - Rebuilding Native Nations: An Introduction
- LAW 631L - Constitutions of Indigenous Nations
- LAW 656A - Intergovernmental Relations
- LAW 525 - Native Economic Development
- LAW 695 - Navajo Common Law
- LAW 631R - Indigenous Food Sovereignty
- LAW 631S - Indigenous Peoples and the Environment
